I think we might be super heroes.

If you could have any super hero power, what would it be? Mine would be that I wanted the ability to fly. I thought if I could fly, I could get things done so much fatser. I think deep down I have always wanted to be a super hero with super powers. I did have Wonder Women Underoos and a Batgirl bathing suit growing up. Scary!

Then the other night I realized, I might be a super hero. My husband and I were sitting in the living room with the TV blasting (he's deaf). I was cooking dinner. The dryer and washer were going. And I was talking away on the phone. All of the sudden, I asked him if he heard that. He said, "what?". I said, "the baby". He said,"I didn't hear anything." I told him to turn the TV down. Sure enough, my munckin was talking away in her bed. He was amazed at how I could hear her from the other side of the house. I realized I must have a super power. I think I might have a Bionic Ear. Then I started thinking about the other special abilities I might have.

Speed
I can be in REM sleep at 3am and go from laying horizontal to standing vertical within the 1 second after hearing the baby cry out.

Strength
I can hold my child in one arm, a purse, her toy, the groceries, a cell phone and the car keys while unlocking the front door.

Stamina
I can get up at 1am, 3am, 5am and 7am and still love my child.

Sight
I can find anything his keys, his wallet, his belt, the ketchup.

Singing
I can sing any song from the Wiggles show when needed during a rough car ride home.

But the sad thing about being a super hero is, their identities have to remain a secret. So my family will never be able to know that I have these special abilities. However, I am sure my husband wouldn't mind me dressing up as Catwoman or Wonder Woman every once in awhile. HAHAHA
